 nd the standard model of physics\, that interact with gravity and only ver
 y weakly with known elementary particles. In this talk\, I will discuss th
 e history of Dark Matter\, as well as the past and current state of search
 es for it. I will also present the modern and future technological develop
 ments that could\, in the near future\, allow us to detect Dark Matter and
  unveil its mysteries.
